2016 Fresh Farmers’ Markets located in the northwest hills of Connecticut. Come see what we have to offer! In 2016, we have farmers’ markets in the following locations:
Welcome to the Northwest Family Farm Co-Op. We run four farmers’ markets in our corner of the state located in Southington, Thomaston, and Torrington. Our farmers often harvest their crops early each morning and bring them directly to our markets the same day. Our customers love receiving such fresh food and getting to know the farmers who grow their food. Click here for our markets’ locations, days, and times.
We promote eating local and in season. We believe that small farms can play an important role in strengthening our community. Our customers help to support the long-term sustainability of our farms and our local economy. We look forward to every market, rain or shine! Our market season starts in June and runs through the last week of October.
In the winter, our markets close down. Please contact our vendors directly to find out how to continue buying locally during the winter months. You can also visit other nearby markets that are not part of our organization, yet still remain open throughout the winter.
